Lamelo Ball is 6 feet 7 inches (180 pounds), which is taller than his older brother Lonzo (6 feet 6 inches tall). Lamelo’s height gives him an advantage on the basketball court, as he can easily see defenders and shoot over them. Additionally, Lamelo’s long arms allow him to reach for loose balls and grab rebounds that other players might not be able to get to.
Lamelo Ball was born in Anaheim, California, on August 22, 2001. Making him 23 years old in 2024. He attended Chino Hills High School, where he was a consensus five-star recruit and one of the top-ranked players in his class.
Lamelo Ball is the youngest of three brothers. His older brothers are Lonzo and LiAngelo. All three brothers were highly touted recruits coming out of high school. Lamelo followed in his brothers’ footsteps by committing to play college basketball at UCLA. However, he decided to forgo his collegiate career after one season and declare for the 2020 NBA Draft.
Lonzo is the oldest of the three Ball brothers. He played one season of college basketball at UCLA before being drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers as the second overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
LiAngelo was also a highly touted recruit coming out of high school. However, he never played college basketball after being arrested for shoplifting during a team trip to China in 2017. He was subsequently released by UCLA and spent time playing professionally in Lithuania. LiAngelo has since signed with the G League’s Oklahoma City Blue, the affiliate of the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder.
All three Ball brothers have been involved in the family’s Big Baller Brand business. The company sells apparel and footwear. It has also been involved in various other business ventures, such as launching its own basketball league.
