So how tall is Ben Roethlisberger? Better known as “Big Ben,” was one of the tallest and heaviest quarterbacks in the NFL. Standing at 6’5″, he was one of the tallest players in the league. His weight has been listed at 240 pounds, making him one of the heaviest quarterbacks.
Despite his large size, Roethlisberger was considered to be a mobile quarterback. He showed the ability to scramble out of the pocket and make plays with his feet. This made him a difficult target for defenses to tackle.
Roethlisberger’s height and weight also gave him a significant advantage over most defensive players. His size allows him to see the top of the defense and find open receivers. Additionally, his weight makes him a difficult player to bring down. This makes him a dangerous weapon on the offensive side of the ball.
Ben Roethlisberger was born in Lima, Ohio, on March 2, 1982, making him 43 years old as of 2025. He played college football at Miami University and was drafted by the Steelers in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He is currently retired.
