All Flight 1 teams and upper level Flight 2 teams should register in the 2012 fall age group.</em></strong>&nbsp;Therefore, mid to lower level Flight 2 U13 teams can play in the U13 age group for spring.</span></p><ul>    <li><span style="font-size: 14px">All U8 teams should register as U9 teams.</span></li>    <li><span style="font-size: 14px">All U10 teams should register as U11 teams in order to play 11 v 11.</span></li>    <li><span style="font-size: 14px">There will only be one flight per age group on each the boys and girls side.</span></li>    <li><span style="font-size: 14px">All teams will play a 6 game schedule.</span></li>    <li><span style="font-size: 14px">Games are for results only.         <![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: 14px">Congratulations to Coach Keith Whitmer and G02 (Girls Under 9)&nbsp;for winning the FC ManU Winter Cup the weekend of January 21-22, 2012. &nbsp;The Girls&nbsp;started pool play with a 1-1 tie against Real So Cal Black and then finished Saturday afternoon&nbsp;with a 4-0 win over the Claremont Stars. Their form continued Sunday with a 3-0 win over Real So Cal Blue. The final featured a rematch with Real So Cal&nbsp;Black and with the score tied at halftime, the girls came out strong in the&nbsp;2nd half&nbsp;to finish with a 3-0 win for their 2nd tournament win and 3rd final this season. Dan is a two time Pac-10 Women&rsquo;s coach of the year (at two different schools) and former Soccer America National Coach of the Year. He turned around programs at Arizona and Washington State; has been a U-17 women&rsquo;s national team assistant; was head coach for Region IV U-19 and U-16 ODP teams, and has extensive other ODP experience. He played at D-1 Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.</span></p>            <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px"><span style="font-size: 14px">&nbsp;</span></p>            <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px"><span style="font-size: 14px">Technical Director Todd Salda&ntilde;a commented that &quot;South Bay Force&rsquo;s commitment to top level coaching continues. This is the second U-20 camp under head coach Tab Ramos for Villarreal and the first for McBean, who was a member of the Galaxy&rsquo;s MLS Cup winning side last season.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 14px">The youngest player in club history to play in a game and score a goal, McBean recently completed his first season with the Galaxy, </span><a href="http://www.lagalaxy.com/news/2011/10/recap-la-galaxy-fall-houston-dynamo-3-1-regular-season-finale"><span style="font-size: 14px">making his MLS debut in the regular season finale against Houston on October 23 when he scored his team&rsquo;s only goal</span></a><span style="font-size: 14px">. Rodriguez, who played for the U.S. alongside McBean at the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico, has three goals in seven games for the Galaxy U-18&rsquo;s in Development Academy play this season.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 14px">The LA Galaxy will open preseason ahead of the 2012 MLS season later this month.         <![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: 14px">As part of South Bay Force&rsquo;s commitment to total player development, we have begun our College Readiness Program (CRP). &nbsp;The CRP is a step-by-step lecture series for parents and players designed to guide college bound student-athletes through the college soccer selection and acceptance process.<br /><br />Seniors and Juniors participated in their first discussion covering topics such as selecting schools, taking school visits, and communicating with coaches to name a few.<br /><br />Freshmen and sophomores will be participating in their first discussion at the end of August (location and time TBD).<br /><br />The CRP is conducted by Dr. Lee Hancock; Lee is a SBF coach but also a professor at Cal State Dominguez Hills and <span id="lw_1283553718_3">education consultant</span>.
