Congratulations to coach Michael Quigley and his Girls Under 9 team for finishing as the Finalist in the August 28-29, 2010, North Huntington Beach Cup.  The girls started pool play against Tustin United with a 2-0 win in their first game and then defeated Eclipse White by a score of 3-1 to advance into the Semi-Final round.  In the Semi’s, the girls faced FC Golden State and in a tough back-and-forth battle, triumphed 2-1 to advance to the Finals against Real So Cal White.  In a hard fought battle, the two teams played to a 1-1 tie in regular time and ended up still tied 1-1 after overtime, which lead to a PK shoot-out.   The final PK score was 3 for Real So Cal White and 2 for South Bay Force.
