Girls Under 16

Congratulations to the Girls Under 16 team and coach Jim Millinder, Finalists at the August 21-22 West Coast Futbol Classic.  The team went undefeated through pool play winning over So Cal Infinity 4-1, Mission Valley United 1-0, and West Coast United 2-1 to make it undefeated to the Semi-Final pound.  In the semi-final round, they defeated West Coast FC by a score of 2-0 to advance to the Finals against Westside Breakers.  The Finals ended in PK’s.

Girls Under 14 

The GU14 team coached by Jim Millinder went undefeated in pool play defeating So Cal Blue Kale 4-0, Legends FC Black 2-1 and Carlsbad Lightening 3-1 to advance to the Semi-Final round.  In the Semi’s, SBF matched up against Legends FC and played with skill, determination, heart and soul.  With only 45 minutes between the girl’s last pool play game and the Semi, the GU14’s held off Legends until the very end and only lost by 1 goal.  The girls can hold their heads high for a tournament well done!

Girls Under 12

Congratulations to GU12 coached by Lee Hancock as they were undefeated in pool play - defeating Arsenal White 7-0, defeating PV Exiles 6-0 and tieing Legends 2-2 to take 1st place in their pool (15 goals for, 3 against).  The girls lost a hard fought game in the Semi’s to Arsenal, the team that ended up Champion.
