Congratulations to Girls Under 9 Blue and Coach Nicole Bucciarelli for advancing to the Championship match at the August 7-8 FC Irvine International Showcase.  On Saturday, in the first pool play match, South Bay Force prevailed over the ISC Strikers 2-1.  The second pool play game brought them up against the Arsenal FC White team and after a hard fought game, teams ended tied 0-0.  With a 1 win and 1 tie record, South Bay Force advanced to the semi-final round against Arsenal FC Red and triumphed 3-0 to move to the Championship round.  The Championship round featured a rematch of South Bay Force and Arsenal FC White and this time, Arsenal FC White came out on top in a close game by a score of 2-1.  Fantastic result for a brand new team!
