South Bay Force Girls under-16 Blue won the 2010 Region IV Presidents Cup in Medford, Oregon in June and advanced to the Presidents National Cup, July 8-11, 2010, in Murfeesboro, Tennessee.  The Cup started Thursday July 8th with SBF facing Arkansas Rush and ended with a hard fought 1-1 tie.  On Friday July 9th, SBF triumphed over the Manhattan Kickers by a score of 1-0.  Sofia Ferrelli scored with 8 minutes left in the game off of a corner kick by Kristina Hughes.  The last pool game on Saturday July 11th pitted SBF against St Louis and ended in a 0-0 tie.  SBF and Arkansas Rush advanced to the Finals on Sunday July 11th and battled to a 0-0 tie before going to Penalty Kicks.  When it was over, SBF GU16 Blue dominated with 4 PK goals versus 2 for Arkansas Rush and became the National Cup Champion.  Congratulations to Coach Donovan and all the GU16 Blue players !
