The event, held March 10 in Carlsbad, Calif., gave the emerging players an opportunity to play with and against some of the area’s top players in the age group. The players competed in front of U.S. Soccer Federation and id2Program staff and coaches, and were scouted in advance of the upcoming id2Program Training Camp to be held April 19-22 in Irvine, Calif.
Twelve players from this PDP event were selected for the April id2Program Training Camp, including four players who also participated in the PDP event March 3 in Bell Gardens, Calif. The players began the day by completing training and individual drills in the morning, and spent the afternoon divided into teams for games.

The next event for the id2Program is the id2Program Training Camp in Raleigh, North Carolina, which is coming up on March 15-18.
Charleston, S.C. (March 13, 2012) – As part of the organization’s id2 Program, US Club soccer hosted a Player Development Program (PDP) event for 40 boys born in 1999 this past Saturday in Southern California.
