South Bay Force Soccer Club is proud to partner with Hollywood United F.C. in conjunction with Project Play Africa, to host a Celebrity Charity event on Saturday, August 15th at Manhattan Beach’s Mira Costa High School Waller Stadium. The fundraising charity event will be filled with a fun-filled day of soccer activities including:
  • youth soccer challenge matches starting at 9:00am!
  • a youth soccer clinic for players 5 – 12 years of age at 6:00 pm!
  • a silent auction with amazing items!
  • and a Hollywood United Celebrity Match in the evening beginning at 7:30pm!
All are welcome! Tell your family, your friends, co-workers, and soccer family throughout Southern california about this great event!
 
Pre-purchased tickets are $5.00 per person prior to Wednesday, August 12th and tickets sold at the event will be $7.00 per person.
Checks should be made payable to South Bay Force. Proceeds from the event will benefit Project Play Africa and the South Bay Force Youth Scholarship Program.

  • Gilles Marini, french actor best known for his role as "Dante," Samantha’s sexy, scene stealing neighbor ~ in the 2008 movie, "Sex and the City."  Gilles most recently appeared on the hit TV show ~ "Dancing With The Stars"
  • Rolando Nichols - VOICE of the Los Angeles Angels and President and CEO for the Dynamic CENTER FOR EDUCATION In TV and Radio
  • Francisco Pinto - Before starting his journalistic career, Pinto was a squash and soccer player in his native country Chile.  He is now an anchor for Primera Edicion, the morning newscast for KMEX Univision 34
  • Aly Wagner - Has represented the United States in international play 126 times and is a two-time Olympic Gold medalist, in 2004 in Athens and most recently in 2008 in Beijing.  Aly currently plays for the LA Sol in the WPS
  • Brittany Bock - Featured member of the U.S. Under-20 team that competed at FIFA Under-20 World Championship in 2005.  Brittany currently plays for the LA Sol as a defender
  • Ante Razov - is Chivas USA’s all-time leading scorer, scoring 30 goals for the club since arriving prior to the 2006 season.  An MLS original, Razov has played in each of the league’s 13 seasons, and, at the start of the 2009 campaign, is second on MLS’ all-time scoring chart with 114 regular-season goals, second only to Jaime Moreno, who has 122.  Ante currently plays forward for the Chivas USA
  • Alexi Lalas - An American soccer player who played defender for the United States national Soccer Team in 1994 FIFA World Cup.  He currently works as an analyst with ESPN and ABC Sports
  • Danny Cannon - A film and television screenwriter, director and producer.  In 2005, he directed Goal!  The Dream Begins!
  • Skeet Ulrich - An American actor best known for starring in the CBS drama Jericho and for playing Billy Loomis in Scream
  • Lennie James - An English actor and playwright.  He has appeared in over twenty films, including Guy Ritchie’s crime caper Snatch {2004}, 24 Hour Party People {2002} and Sahara {2005}
  • Wilmer Valderrama - from MTV’s hit show Yo Mama! and cult favorite That 70’s Show
