South Bay Soccer Club players selected for US Club Soccer's National Identification Development Program!
Zach Soufl (BU14), Jose Heredia (BU14) and Cesar Hernandez (BU14's) were all selected to attend the US Club Soccer id2 Program from Friday, October, 5th thru Monday October, 8th. This will be the third and final Regional Training Camp held by US Club Soccer, and will be held in Irvine, CA. Congratulations to all three boys and please wish them the best of luck throughout the weekend! 
Four Titles and Three More Finals!
South Bay Soccer Club had a tremendous past weekend, with several teams winning tournament championships, and several more making Semi-finals and Finals!
GU10, GU11, BU11 and GU13 all won JUSA Championships, while the BU14, BU15, and GU16’s all made it to the Finals at West Coast Futbol Classic!

The boys won their group ahead of West Coast FC, and then defaeted Real SOCal in penalty kicks, before bowing out to Cal South National Cup Champions, and Far West Regional Champions - Italia, by a score of 7 - 4. In an entertaining final, the boys showed that they are force to be reckoned with in the upcoming CSL League Season in the Gold Bracket!

BU14 CHAMPS @ Fullerton & FINALISTS @ Slammers!
The Under 14 Boys were recent finalists at the Slammers Futbol Classic, in Newport Beach, as well as Champions at the Fullerton Rangers Summer Tournament!

The Under 14 Boys were recent finalists at the Slammers Futbol Classic, in Newport Beach. On the way to the Final matchs -vs- Arsenal, the boys won their group which included Slammers and Real So Cal, then beat perenial power - LA Rampage 2-0 in the Semi-final match. In the Final, Arsenal scored with several minutes in the 1st half, while South Bay responded in the 2nd half to tie the game. Arsenal won the game by scoring with 4 minutes remaining off a corner kick. Congratulations to the BU14’s for making their 1st Final of the summer tournament season!
