South Bay and Force Soccer Clubs are proud to announce the merger of the top two youth soccer clubs in the South Bay.  In an effort to preserve the roots and traditions of both clubs, our new name will be: South Bay Force, while the colors will be a combination of Black, Royal Blue, and White.  Work has already started on development of an integrated website; new club logos, and new custom uniforms - all in conjunction with our club partners: Demosphere; adidas®, and Soccer Central.

Under the direction of Todd Saldana, Shelly Marsden, Danny Pena and Fred Velez - South Bay Force will be commited to development of the complete player; producing championship caliber teams, and showcasing our players for identification in elite level programs and post club play.  In 2008 - 2009, we will have approximately 50 + teams for the 2008-2009 Coast Soccer League season, ranging from Premier level to Bronze level throughout the different age groups!  Our goal is to be the top competitive youth soccer organization in the region, with players and teams being showcased in top level events throughout the country.

Olders Tryout dates for the Under 15 thru Under 19 have been set.

Under 9 - Under 14 for 2008 - 2009 Season

 Youth Academy 2008

The South Bay Soccer Club is pleased to announce the formation of its Youth Soccer Academy. The Youth Academy is a unique soccer development program designed to provide youngsters ages 6-9 with an opportunity to improve fundamental soccer skills in a fun and safe environment. Our program is unique in a number of ways, a few of those include: 

• Our staff. Each session is conducted by trained, nationally licensed coaches.
• Our curriculum. Our curriculum was created by nationally licensed coaches, educators, developmental experts and, most importantly, coaches who have their own children in the program. The curriculum is developmentally appropriate and is implemented in a timely, efficient and fun manner. 
• We educate the parents. After sessions we talk about what we did, why we did it, and provide ideas for parents to help their kids at home.

Spring Youth Academy will start beginning on Friday April 18th!

The 2008 NGWA Championship Tour is coming to Redondo Union H.S., Redondo Beach, CA on May 31, 2008. This Southern California Goalie War Challenge tournament is open to amateur youth, college and adult athletes. Only the top competitors from this event will be invited to compete at the National Goalie War Championships. This event features the exciting sport of Goalie Wars and includes many fun skills competitions and interactive events plus music, food, prizes and plenty of giveaways for the whole family.

Goalkeeping Sessions!

 All goalkeeping sessions, should be attended in addition to regular team training sessions.  If there is an overlap, players should be attending the goalkeeping training.  Please consult with your team coach and Goalkeeper Coach: Joe Velasco.
